Our Minds At Work (OMAW)

Welcome to Our Minds At Work (OMAW). By accessing our website, registering for training, purchasing services, or engaging with our programs, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

These terms are designed to provide clarity, fairness, and mutual respect — consistent with our People First Culture.

 

1. About Us

Our Minds At Work (OMAW) delivers workplace training, wellbeing programs, consulting, and partner-based specialist services across Australia.

 

2. Services

Our services may include:

  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training

  • Resilience First Aid (RFA) training

  • Psychosocial hazard education

  • Mindful Champions Program

  • Workplace wellbeing workshops

  • Consulting and advisory services

  • Community initiatives

Specific service details, inclusions, and pricing are outlined at the time of booking or agreement.

 

3. Bookings & Payments

Individual Bookings

  • Full payment is required at time of registration unless otherwise agreed.

  • Your place is confirmed upon payment receipt.

Organisational Bookings

  • Invoices must be paid within agreed trading terms.

  • Custom delivery agreements will outline scope and payment schedule.

OMAW reserves the right to cancel or postpone training if minimum numbers are not met. In such cases, participants will be offered a transfer or refund.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Participant Cancellations

  • Cancellations more than 7 days prior to training: transfer or credit available.

  • Cancellations within 7 days: fees may be non-refundable due to materials and administration costs.

  • Non-attendance without notice: no refund.

Organisational Cancellations

Terms will be outlined in your service agreement.

Where exceptional circumstances arise, we apply discretion consistent with our People First approach.

 

5. Accreditation & Certification

For accredited programs (e.g., MHFA):

  • Attendance requirements must be met.

  • Assessment completion may be required for accreditation.

  • Certification is subject to governing body requirements.

OMAW does not guarantee accreditation if course requirements are not fulfilled.

 

6. Participant Conduct

To maintain psychological safety:

  • Respectful behaviour is required at all times.

  • Discriminatory, abusive, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.

  • OMAW reserves the right to remove participants who compromise safety.

We create safe spaces for learning — this is a shared responsibility.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, manuals, presentations, resources, and program frameworks remain the intellectual property of OMAW unless otherwise stated.

Materials may not be reproduced, shared, recorded, or distributed without written permission.

 

8. Confidentiality

Participants agree to respect the confidentiality of discussions shared during training.

OMAW:

  • Does not disclose personal disclosures made in sessions.

  • Does not provide therapy or clinical services unless explicitly contracted.

  • Encourages voluntary participation in all activities.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

OMAW provides training and education services. We do not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice unless specifically engaged under a formal agreement.

Participants are encouraged to seek professional support where required.

To the extent permitted by law, OMAW is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Business interruption

  • Decisions made based on training content

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 

10. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse content

  • Attempt unauthorised access

  • Distribute harmful material

We may update website content at any time without notice.

11. Partner Ecosystem

OMAW works with specialist partners. Where services are delivered by a partner organisation:

  • Specific terms may apply

  • Referral pathways may operate

  • Liability remains with the delivering party as outlined in agreements

 

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

13. Changes to Terms

OMAW may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our website.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
