It’s okay to feel lonely, anxious, or sad during the holidays. Here are some gentle ways to support yourself, and people to reach out to if you need help.
🌱 Gentle Activities
Comfort & Connection
Take a short walk outside. Nature helps lift your mood.
Listen to soothing music or a favourite movie/TV show.
Cook or bake something comforting, even if it’s small.
Write a letter or journal entry — to yourself or someone you care about.
Creative & Mindful
Colour, draw, or craft — focus on the process, not the result.
Start a gratitude or memory jar — one note at a time.
Try gentle stretching or breathing exercises to calm your mind.
Connect Safely
Send a short message to someone else who may be alone.
Join an online community or livestream — many are free and welcoming.
Volunteer remotely — small acts of kindness can lift your spirits.
