Standard Mental Health First Aid Course 6 Participants at your venue
The Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course teaches adults how to confidently assist someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis until professional help is available. This accredited, evidence-based course focuses on early recognition, practical response skills, and understanding common mental health conditions and treatment options.
Participants learn how to recognise the signs of mental ill health, respond to deteriorating mental health, and provide safe, appropriate support in both workplace and community settings. The course builds real-world skills that can be used immediately to support colleagues, clients, friends, and family members.
On completion, participants can undertake a short assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider), with accreditation valid for three years.
All sessions are delivered face-to-face by an MHFA-trained and Licensed Instructor with professional experience in mental health support and lived experience, helping to create a practical, engaging, and relatable learning environment.
