As MHFA training continues to roll out across workplaces, one message we hear consistently from MHFAiders is this:

“We’re seeing more psychosocial hazards show up in everyday work — and too often we’re only getting involved when things are already at crisis point.”

That’s exactly why we’re launching RFast + Mindful Champions — a practical, people-first session focused on prevention, early action, and building better systems around psychosocial hazards and mental health at work.

This launch session brings together:

  • RFast — a prevention-focused, practical complement to MHFA, designed to reduce reliance on crisis response, and

  • Mindful Champions — our new program designed to help organisations identify, respond to, and monitor psychosocial hazards, while also supporting MHFAiders so the role is safe and sustainable.

One MHFAider who recently completed RFast said:
“It felt like another piece of the workplace mental health puzzle that just made sense. It’s a preventative strategy that should reduce the need for crisis.”

Included in RFAST

  • 2 Hours of Training –  Instructor-led classroom training with others to grow and learn in a collaborative safe setting.
  • RFAST Participant Workbook – Summary of the workshop content, space for notes, plus your own Active Strength analysis and personal Resilience Action Plan
  • Completion Certificate – Useful as evidence of ongoing professional development marking 2 hours of attended training.

As part of the STARTER TRAINING, we include a 20-minute live demonstration that shows how the Mindful Champions Peer Support Platform system works in practice — including how psychosocial hazards are identified, how peer support is supported, and how leaders gain visibility and governance without adding unnecessary complexity.

Mindful Champions supports organisations to identify, monitor, and reduce psychosocial risks, while also protecting the people who are doing the supporting. The result is a workplace that is safer, more resilient, and more human — where wellbeing, performance, and compliance work together, not in silos.
